The photo gallery shows some of the range of projects I have designed over the last 25 years. Showing among the residential interiors is a design/build home with custom solid cherry cabinetry and furniture throughout, also custom window treatments, hand painted tiles, and faux finishes. Other residential projects include some before and after pictures using the clients existing sofas then adding new accent furniture, lighting, art work and accessories. Commercial interiors that I have completed show several office spaces, again utilizing the clients' own desks and credenzas, then adding a seating area, and finishing touches to create a space that is more pleasing and personal to spend the day in. A new government lobby addition shows the elegant marble floor design and accent lighting, creating interest and flow, blending the new space to the adjacent lobby. Also one of many worship space remodels I have been involved in shows the new chancel, with all new finishes and a back accent wall added to create interest and contrast from the brick, lastly some floral vignettes, adding to the home softness and interest.
My artistic and technical training encompasses both Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, MI and Maryville University; an accredited Interior Design program, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree here in St. Louis, MO. I have been actively licensed since April of 1995 with the National Council for Interior Design Qualification in Residential Design, including qualifications in ADA standards for accessible design. Integrating handicap accessibility into the design of your home is a wise investment, whether for resale value or for your own future.
Your home or office is your own personal reflection, and that is how I will approach the design. Whether you wish to add on or simply to update the design, I'll work with you as a team to help you define your vision and achieve your goals. As part of this process I can create architectural drawings, floor plans and elevations, and show you photos or sketches for inspiration, ideas, and clarification. If you are planning on a room addition, I will provide your contractor with all that is needed for construction and budget.
In the end your space will flow, it will support you and your families needs, and it will feel so comfortable that you absolutely love living or working in it!
Whether our work together involves redesigning with what you have, procuring quality materials, or creating a comprehensive and detailed master plan, my goal is to make this process an easy and enjoyable one for you, from our first consultation until the very last accessory piece is in place, knowing every step in the process is in line with your wishes and your investment.
Please take that first step to simply call me to talk over what it is you’re considering. We can discuss any questions you may have regarding services, fees, and process, then set up a initial consultation to hear, your needs, your desires, your dreams. I look forward to hearing from you and creating with you interiors with personal lasting expression.
